Position open immediately for a postdoctoral fellow with interests in chemical biology to work on small molecule and peptide inhibitors of Smad protein-protein interactions on the TGF-beta signaling pathway. The funding requires that the person be an American citizen or have permanent resident status.

Postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in the Oncology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for studying the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying normal self-renewal of hematopoietic stem cells and oncogenic self-renewal of leukemic stem cells. Current projects focus on characterizing and establishing genetically engineered mouse models for various hematopoietic malignancies. A strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology, as well as English proficiency are required. Experience working with animals and ES cell culture is preferred.
